   Python is a powerful, free, open source, object-oriented programming language, Python can run on Linux, Windows, Macintosh, AIX operating systems and different platforms (x86 and arm), Python's concise syntax and support for dynamic input, This, coupled with the nature of an interpreted language, makes it an ideal scripting language in many areas on most platforms, especially for rapid application development. Python has a rich and powerful library that can easily link together various modules made in other languages ​​(especially C/C++). In addition to the Python standard library, there are corresponding Python software libraries in almost all industries. With the development of many Python application libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, and Pandas, Python is increasingly important in the field of science and engineering. Excellent performance in computing, mathematical modeling, data mining and data visualization makes Python widely used in academic research and engineering projects in the fields of geography, meteorology, climate change, hydrology, ecology, sensors, etc. in the earth sciences and efficiently solve various problems. Data analysis problems, it is foreseeable that in the future Python will become the mainstream programming language in the fields of science and engineering.

  This course will start with the basic usage of Python, explain step by step, from data visualization to the use of common data analysis methods, combined with specific examples of related disciplines, so that students can learn from it.
