Slicer is a way to quickly filter data in Excel. It can be used in super table and pivot table, which can help us to quickly filter and analyze data, but sometimes when we use super table, we will encounter insertion The case where the slicer icon is gray, the case where the slicer cannot be inserted.
This situation generally occurs because our table is in [Compatibility Mode].
And when the mouse is placed on the gray position where the slicer is inserted, a prompt will appear.
In response to this situation, we only need to save the table as an "xlsx " format file (that is, the latest version of Excel). You can see that the original format file is Excel 97-2003, which is the "xls " file. When saving, choose " Excel Workbook " .
Then we close the document, reopen the saved document, and insert the slicer in the super table smoothly.
Tip: If you don't close and reopen after saving, even if you save, sometimes the table still shows compatibility mode, so you have to close and reopen.
Well, that's all for today's sharing, thank you for your attention.
