In blender, when we create a new object, the adjustment parameters of this object will appear in the lower left corner of the screen.
However, once we click somewhere else, or move and zoom the object, this parameter will never appear again, which is quite anti-human.
The plugin we are going to talk about today, [wonder mesh], is designed to solve this problem.
First, we install the plugin as usual. Click [Install] to find the downloaded [W_Mesh_28x] file to install directly, and then tick the installed plugin.
After installation, when we shift+a to create a new object, we can see an additional option of [parametric grid], which contains all our regular models, but there is an additional prefix - parameter.
We create a new parametric cylinder, and you can see that it is exactly the same as our ordinary cylinder.
However, in the [Object Data Properties] panel on the right, we can see that it has integrated all the parameters in it. In this way, we can adjust the parameters of the cylinder at any time, and no longer have to worry about the disappearance of the parameter panel.
In addition to solving the problem of parameter adjustment, the permanent existence of the parameter panel also provides the possibility for us to play keyframes for animation.
For example, we keyframe the [Section Start] of the cylinder and check [Play Animation].
Then play the animation, you can see this effect.
The above is about how to use [Wonder Mesh]. If you want this plugin, you can add my official account [ White Horse and Teenager ] and reply to [blender plugin].
